Alternate routes to downtown Detroit

Coming into downtown Detroit:

using I-94 from the west:
Use eastbound I-94 to either southbound M-10 or southbound I-75 exits;
follow southbound M-10, I-75 or I-375 to your downtown destination.

using I-94 from the east:
Use westbound I-94 to southbound I-75 or southbound M-10 (left-lane exit);
follow southbound I-75, I-375, or M-10 to your downtown destination.

using I-96 from the west:
Use eastbound I-96 to I-94 interchange;
exit eastbound I-96 onto eastbound I-94;
exit eastbound I-94 onto southbound M-10 or I-75;
follow southbound M-10, I-75 or I-375 to your downtown destination.

using I-75 from the south:
Use northbound I-75 into downtown Detroit;
exit northbound I-75 onto M-10 south or I-375 south;
follow M-10 or I-375 south to your downtown destination.

using I-75 from the north:
Use southbound I-75 where it turns into southbound I-375 or continue on southbound I-75 (right lane exit at I-375) and exit onto southbound M-10;
follow southbound M-10 or southbound I-375 onto westbound Jefferson Ave. to your downtown destination.

Coming into downtown Detroit from northwest suburbs avoiding the M-10 closure:

From the Bloomfield Hills/Birmingham area:
Follow southbound Southfield Rd. to access southbound M-39 (Southfield Freeway);
use southbound M-39 to exit onto eastbound I-96;
follow eastbound I-96 express lanes to I-94 interchange;
exit onto eastbound I-94;
use eastbound I-94 and exit onto either southbound M-10 or southbound I-75;
follow southbound M-10 or southbound I-75 to your downtown destination.

From the Southfield/Franklin area:
Use southbound US-24 (Telegraph Rd.) to I-96 interchange;
follow signs to eastbound I-96;
use eastbound I-96 express lanes to I-94 interchange;
exit onto eastbound I-94;
use eastbound I-94 and exit onto southbound M-10 or southbound I-75;
follow southbound M-10 or southbound I-75 to your downtown destination.

From the West Bloomfield/Farmington Hills area:
Use eastbound I-696 and exit onto southbound M-10 (Northwestern Highway);
follow southbound M-10 and exit onto southbound US-24 (Telegraph Rd.);
use southbound US-24 (Telegraph Rd.) to I-96 interchange;
follow signs to eastbound I-96;
use eastbound I-96 express lanes to I-94 interchange;
exit onto eastbound I-94;
use eastbound I-94 and exit onto southbound M-10 or southbound I-75;
follow southbound M-10 or southbound I-75 to your downtown destination.

From Walled Lake/Novi and points west:
Use eastbound I-96 and exit onto southbound I-275/eastbound I-96;
follow southbound I-275/eastbound I-96 and exit onto eastbound I-96 (left lane exit);
use eastbound I-96 express lanes to I-94 interchange;
exit onto eastbound I-94;
use eastbound I-94 and exit onto southbound M-10 or southbound I-75;
follow southbound M-10 or southbound I-75 to your downtown destination.
